Auto reply: Out of Office

Hey friends, thanks for stopping by. I'm not home at the moment, but if you leave a comment at the bottom, I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as I return.

Where am I?

Why, thanks for asking.

My good bloggy friend Debbie invited me to guest blog over at

So head on over and check out how I've decided to try out a new method of parenting and am now letting my children run amuck.

Now I'm taking the weekend off.

You see my sister Kris came to visit me, so we are going to spend the weekend doing whatever it is that we do when we're together.

Okay, not really.

Normally when she comes to visit I put her to work painting or something like that, but this time she told me that she was not bringing any work clothes because she was riding the train and she wanted to pack light.

Whatever.

So, instead of doing anything productive we are going to sit around and twiddle our thumbs and pick each other's toes.

I'll take pictures.

See you all soon and thanks for stopping by!

Okay, gross. Please DO NOT post pictures of you guys picking each other's toes. I might vomit! Serously, I have a friend who's son used to pick his toes. I don't care how cure kids feet are... still gross. Can you tell I don't like feet? I'm so distracted by the foot thing, I have no idea what the rest of your post said... :) Love you

Loved your guest blog on BATW. I have had to learn when to back the helicopter away too, and it *still* isn't easy with a 14 and a 9 yo. Have a great weekend!

Hi Trish...I am going to catch up on EVERYONE TODAY!!! Thanks so much for your fantastic post. I am debating about letting my daughter walk down the street to her friends house on her playdates as a result of your post.

I loved your post on BATW. I have free reange kids. Though if you have read any of my past blogs my 3 1/2 year old takes it to the extreme. He is WAY to comfortable with our neighborhood. He has already "run away" from home. I get very nervous when I can not find him in the house but that is a post for another day.

What's twitter?

Instead of picking each others toes, go treat yourselves to a pedi instead. Instead of twiddling thumbs, go see a chick flick.

Missing your comment love!

LOL at hot tub lizzy! I just read your guest post, it was great! I used to be one of those too, roaming around on my bike with my big brother. It was so much fun. I'll try to remember that when my kids get a little older. ;)

Ok, I read your BATW, but did I comment here to tell you how fabulous it was? Nope - I commented there but does that count?

Trish- Where have you gone? Thanks for stopping by today for my BATW day. Northern ID, is beautiful. I've only been there a handful of times. And sleeping on a hornets nest does NOT sound fun!
