Did you know that the city had to get a forklift over to the end of town because the ice had piled up against someone's house...and it was moving it? (The house.)
A couple of years ago, the ice took out an entire section of wall and the stairs to another house too.
You are really having an adventure! Does it ever feel a little bit like you're living in a foreign country? That's how I felt sometimes when we lived in Hawaii.
Thank you for posting those "childhood memories" pictures! I was raised right on front street (house 912) and miss watching the ice go out every year:)
