Sometimes when you're five......

Sometimes when you are five:
You make your own lunch while your mom is using the facilities.

Sometimes when you are five:
You spill the whole pitcher of juice while trying to pour yourself a cup.

Sometimes when you are five:
You try to clean up the mess by yourself; using every clean dish towel in the drawer.

Sometimes when you are five:
You drink the rest of the juice right out of the pitcher.
Sometimes when you are five:
Your mom says yes to the Froot Loops immediately following lunch because she has a mess to clean up and needs to keep you occupied and in her sight.
Sometimes when you are five:
You ride your scooter around and around in the kitchen because your mom thinks it's cute that you are call it a "mow lawner" and you keep offering to mow my wood floors.

I said SOMETIMES son.
(just not again tomorrow please!)

Oh, I know the towel situation intimately. What IS that with using every kitchen towel in the drawer and then just leaving them all there???

Ahhh yes... the all towel thing. Or the WHOLE roll of paper towels, that's another GREAT one....

Oh my... was that all in one day?? He looks like he belongs at my house in my craziness!! I think that we only cleaned up 2 spilled glasses yesterday. Completely full glasses. Full of ice and water. I was just thankful it was ice water and not milk. I actually DO cry over spilled milk!

I love seeing life repeat itself in ones child.
God has such a sense of humor. When dad and I prayed for you to have a daughter just like you, he answered our prayers with a son!!
He always knows what is best.
SOMETIMES when you are five, you are just to CUTE!!!

I always wondered who the people are who film an accident or imminent tragedy rather than prevent it.

Oh, this is all so familiar. Except for the towels. Because my girls would not even attempt that. They stand there and yell that the juice spilled. And wait for someone to tell them what to do next. Ugh.

Spilled juice is always cuter when it's on somebody else's floor!! :) Love the photo essay! :)

Ahhh...so cute...but probably only because my floor isn't sticky from the spilled juice.
