Mama wants

Just in case anyone out there wants to buy ME a present..........

1. A crockpot. Somewhere, somehow, in our move from Kotzebue to Dillingham, mine went missing. Imagine trying to live through a cold, harsh Alaskan winter without one. I need one. And I like this one:

2. Smartwool socks. I've heard they are the best, but goodness gracious if I can't bring myself to pay $15-25 for ONE pair of socks. But if you are so inclined, then feel free!

3. I-tunes gift card!! I need new music. Maybe some new showtunes so that my son will quit playing (and singing) this one over and over and over again.

4. Mama also needs a new scarf and I love this one:

So, if by chance you knit, and are wondering what to make me for Christmas, here ya go.

5. This book. (it's 'Fearless' by Max Lucado for all those who didn't click on the link!)

6. Snowshoes. For the whole family!

So, there you go, my Christmas list. There was a few other things on the list that I already know will be under the tree.

How about you? What are you hoping will be under the tree?

Had you STAYED in Kotzebue, I'd teach you how to MAKE your own socks and scarves and all that fun fur stuff too.

Oh well, too bad you moved.

Today, I'm working on an Elf Costume for Kaisa and I, finishing a sealskin hat, and making two fox hats for someone. :) Toodelooo!

smart wool socks are the best!!! my feet have not been cold for a couple years now when I have them on....you would LOVE them! they are a bit spendy but worth every penny....they last forever! you can get a pair at Nordy's rack for only $5 or $6 but I bet you don't have that there!??!?!

hope you get all the things on your list ;)

I enjoyed watching Kristen Chenoweth...She's so talented! Did you see her on Glee? Funny!

If you got a knitting loom, you could make your own scarf, lickity split!
Looming is the only way that I'll knit..that way, I won't forget how. The plastic looms from Provo Craft are great. :-)

I would love Itunes cards too! I need new music. For some reason, i just realized i haven't purchased new music in about 4 years. time for some fresh tunes.

I also want, ready....a nintendo ds for my big fat airplane ride to Ethiopia :) Oh, and a baby from Ethiopia. A pink one.

Don't you wish you knew what that said? Maybe it says, "I got you everything you asked for and it is in the mail as I type." Then again, it could say, "I am stranded in Hong Kong and need $2500.00 to get back to Bejing. P.S. The sex here is fabulous!"

I have a couple pairs of the smart wool socks I got off Moosejaw.com for hiking. They are amazing. AMAZING. Totally worth the money and I'm a cheap cheap person. lol
